Looking for ideas roof membrane coming off

My cousin just called me from Amarillo Texas and said his roof membrane is lifting off his 2019 Rockwood while traveling from Ohio to Gallup NM. He's stuck in Amarillo trying to figure out what to do. He's going to a RV dealer tomorrow but I'm betting they won't be able to fix it in a pinch. Looking for ideas or advice I can relay to him. He's in a wheelchair and can't get up there, his wife sent me this picture.

They can remove the front transition strip, reglue the membrane. Reinstall the transition strip and seal with Dicor.

The membrane is usually put on before the front and rear caps are installed and it may prove a bit hard to tuck it back underneath.

I agree with Chuck. Pull that strip and remove the existing dicor then pull back the loose membrane, put down adhesive then re-stretch the membrane back over it and seal down. Replace that transition strip between the membrane and cap then reseal all the edges with self leveling dicor. If he's got time he might let that adhesive cure a while.

OK... sounds like the right steps but what adhesive would you put down?

Thanks for the replys but it's way worse than they thought. I guess they had a dealer tech come and look at it to see if it was "repairable" in a quick way to get them moving. Well it turns out that the membrane is loose clear back past the first AC unit. He told me they found it with a leaf blower and it blew up like a balloon, they said the first two section of roof ply have no/very little glue. Looks like a whole new roof. I'll post back when I know more.

Before committing to a repair or OEM replacement compare the price difference of having a Flex Armor or RV Armor roof installed, they both have a lifetime transferable warranty & one of them comes to you to do the work.
Also check with your insurance company for any coverage that may be available.

i had a similar issue. i pulled back the membrane, put down new glue, screwed down teh strip and sealed. I also added another strip about 12-18" behind the first to add a little more strength membrane from wanting to pull up. Took about 2 hours.

Any issues since then? What type of adhesive did you use?

i used roof adhesive i bought from camping world. And ordered the new track bar online, cant remember where. No issues yet, only had it out a few times since.

On my trailer, i noticed the roof pulling up after our third trip, and it seemed as if it got a little air in it and started yanking up more. I know it wasnt like that when i bought it as i inspected the entire roof. But so far so good, doesnt seem to have moved.

Totally what Chuckster57 said.
Search around for RV Repair and Dealers. Trouble is finding someone that has an opening in their work schedule that isn’t a month out.

There are mobile RV repair people that come to you or you take it near to them.
This is not a difficult job, but must be done right.
