If I ever get the chance to go to the UK it will be during the Isle of Man.
The racers I have been around are far from pea brained. Maybe no formal education but very intelligent.
I will watch a bit of summer Olympics. The women's beach volleyball is hard to take my eyes off of.

I don't think it has that much to do with which network is carrying them, more to do with the country they are in.

So I guess "pea brain" was a poor chose of words! Maybe just friggin' nuts would be a better term!

No olympics this time. Next games as long as it's not held in a repressive country with no regard to human rights. As far a backing in only when the last resort. Life is to short to add the possible agitation. Pull thu all the way why complicate things.

Don't know, don't care. It's turned into just another politically sensitive event with everyone having to tip-toe around the Chicoms so an international incident doesn't surface.

I love hockey so I watch it when I can which isn't often enough. It takes serious skill and stamina and yes, it can be done with a mask on so agree there! Curling is fun to watch...bobsled races are the best and the skeleton races are a thrill ride! I've not been watching much, just replays...not interested in skiing, or speed skating...or Nascar or any other Olympics...but Hockey...Love it! It's Superbowl Sunday right? Think I'll defrost the fridge and mop the floors instead

We were out in CO on a ski trip, so the winter games were on everywhere.

I will say that unlike the summer athletes, the winter athletes seem to be proud of the USA and the opportunities that they have been given.

Speaking of winter, I can probably de-winterize the Montana next month.

Backing is easy if you practice. I haul my excavator, tractor and CTL on a goose neck, so I've had years of experience.

Love this, seeing women in what is typically considered a man's sport!

Watched some pro snowmobilers doing jumps and vertical 360's, awesome to watch. Like to watch the Olympic snowboarders, bobsleds, skeleton sleds, and figure skaters. Pretty easy to search the roku TV in my sewing room and find the footage post event.

When someone offers to spot me while backing up I'll suggest they watch the corner I can't see but still get out to check myself. When the Jayco was new one older guy went so far as to "show" me how to tuck the trailer's power cord into the pin box. Promptly pulled it back out and looped the way I liked it...don't touch my stuff unless I ask!

I'm with you there, I have lost intrest in both. You know years ago, I loved watching Olympic boxing, now I caught a bit of that cross countryski-ing /shooting thing, but nothing else.. It reminded me of running up a hill, out of wind and trying to hit an elk..

God I love Winchster Bay We use to camp across the bay drop crab pots and head out salmon fishing,, spent 23 years there. That bar scared the hell out of me a few times.. water is cold, life jacket will help, but ya better get out fast. Were you there when that charterboatwent down and drown a few folks in the cabin? That campground on the spit looks good, but I bet it's hard to grab a spot during salmon season.. so of the worse comes out in people waiting to get their boats in the water.
Learning to trust my GPS in the fog was exciting...

I agree just doing something with your property is unacceptable. Offering to help is different. No one should assume that someone needs help before any reason. Politely offer it and if refused respect that.

As for females on bikes ... A woman that worked for me years ago who lives in Texas bought a street racing style bike. She's in her 50's. She sent me pictures of her running at a track learning how to ride. She looked good and she rides a lot all over the country with groups of bikers that travel to roads that are popular for public ridding. Anyone that thinks that only females should do X activities and man Y activities either just crawled out of a cave or woke up from a 50 year long coma.

We have two daughters and I know what they are capable of and couldn't be prouder. JMHO

DW and I got married young. I was a bike rider and loved them, she had never been on one. We too liked to travel on a bike all loaded up - bedrolls, tent etc. front and back - in the 60s (think Easy Rider). One long trip to MO with her on the back and the days of 1 bike and her riding on the back came to an end. She got her own bike and loaded it up like mine. Took her a bit to get used to all the extra "stuff" hanging off but she made the trips with me. We just took it in stride as a natural progression of her biking experience but you should have seen the looks, faces and questions we got when we stopped, she pulled her helmet off and they saw that long blonde hair come spilling out. I think things have changed quite a bit in the last 1/2 century or so.

No interest in the Olympics at all, and I'll sit back and watch you back your RV in and just keep my mouth shut unless it's 100% certain you're about to hit something. But, as far as sending messages .... It's been leaked from reliable sources that the stock holders and such at Disney are tired of bleeding red, loosing billions and billions of dollars to appease a very, very small percent of patrons at the loss of the majority who has the revenue to continue making them a fortune, but have turned away because of such messages they've been sending for the last several years. So they decided to get away from their political, anti-male, and LGBQ agenda and just get to plain old entertainment again over the next several years and try to rebrand themselves as a wholesome entertainment empire again instead of a political voice. Only time will tell.

First you have look at Disney. They own, part own, and operate a lot more than Peter Pan flying around Cinderella's Castle. https://res.cloudinary.com/tmxfoc/im...n-lg-jpg?_i=AA

They don't own Fox Regional Sports channels anymore; sold it to the Bally Sports which is part of the Casino's holdings. Since sports gambling seems to be moving forward quickly, Bally wanted to get their name out there.

Yup, Disney is one of those giants that trade entities like we trade comments.
