Trouble uploading profile picture

When I try to upload the picture it says that the "up load failed"
The file size is 11.4 kb 128 pix wide and 96 pix high.
Am I missing something here?

The photo of your trailer is uploaded and shows in your post. Is that the photo you say "won't upload" ?

I don't see it in my posts.
When I set it up and clicked "upload" and then "save" it tool me to a new window that said upload failed.

Yes, that is what I wanted. To show up where my name is.
I see no where to do that in my edit profile area only in the edit profile picture area which is what I thought it would do.

I think the problem is the type file you're trying to upload. It works best with a jpg image. Your photo that's in your first post is a .php file. I don't think the software will "play well" with that type file.

Try saving the file in your first post by right clicking it, then "save as" to your desktop as a .jpg file.

Then go to "User CP", click on "Edit Profile Picture", then click on "choose picture" and then when the "upload window" opens, select that ",jpg" photo from your desktop. Then click on "save changes"...

Hopefully it will "magically appear"....

Thanks John. What file formats are acceptable?
I try to save it as a .jpg but it will only save it as a .jpeg file.

You should be good with that file extension.
