Bathroom faucet upgrade

The plastic faucet in our bathroom is so short it is difficult for us to use, so I removed it and installed a Pfiester from Home Depot.

The first thing, when I removed the plastic one was that there are only two holes in the counter top rather than the three I expected. This meant I had to drill the center hole for this particular install. Also, the two holes were just a touch too close together for the new faucet so I had to use a sanding drum and relieve one side of a hole just a bit to allow the new base to fit into the holes.
The install went very well and my wife is very pleased with the new hardware.

We have the same 5th wheel and was just talking about this for an upgrade. Could you post a pic to show how much clearance you have between the faucet and bottom of cabinet?

Thanks.

I need to do something like that as well. You did a great job. Our sink faucet is so far back and so low, it's a PITA ....... how easy was it to work around behind the sink bowl. When I looked before, it didn't look easy to access so I pushed it off.

Thank you!
It was much easier than I anticipated. I removed the top drawer and put a towel in the next drawer. One mistake I made was drilling without a vacuum cleaner in hand. I had dust everywhere.

I did the same thing when we got our Cougar last year. The faucets that most RV manufacturers use are the cheapest ever.
