Anybody know of any recalls on the 40” Covenant electric fireplaces. I have a 2020 Keystone Alpine and the fireplace caught fire yesterday morning. Not sure what I can do about it.

Depending on what caught fire, I'd report it to Keystone and also contact your local fire department to file a hazard report through the proper channels for your state. NHTSA probably doesn't apply since the fireplace shouldn't even be powered when on the highway.... So it's probably a "residential fire hazard" type of reporting process. Your fire department would know for sure.

No recalls or Keystone bulletins out on that on the Alpine fifth wheels that I've seen..

Since its a 2020 when was the last time you pulled the fireplace out and cleaned out the heating element area? lint, animal hair, etc can accumulate around the element and might be source of the issue..

Also have you pulled out the unit and looked at it to determine exactly where the source of the issue occurred?

This is a basic simple appliance and is easy to TS.. Be curious to see a few images of the damage and source of ignition
