Updating any application will be the right action. Google has updated the Chrome browser to version 89, in which, among other things, it has significantly improved the multi-user mode of use and made the bookmarks function more convenient. But all this will not be appreciated by the owners of computers from 15 years ago - Chrome 89 no longer supports the old AMD and Intel processors. In addition, you should upgrade your hard drive, it will be a great solution for you. And also you will be able to data recovery with the help of special services.

FWIW - Google Chrome updates differently depending on if it's on a mobile device or a computer. On mobile devices the updates are done thru the Play Store.
