Loretta Lynn's Farm/RV

Don't be like me..I was tempted and needed a place for a night. It's in Hurricane Mills, between Nashville and Jackson (west of Nashville).
I booked a pull
through with full hook ups.
The pads are paved with asphalt, bordered with large (4-8 inches) rocks. The edges of the asphalt is crumbling away leaving a large drop off to cut a tire or twist an ankle. Most of the streets are bordered with the same rocks.
Most Rvs have up to 12" of blocks under them. I didn't see one good level site.
The exit road has a U turn it with a combination of the crumbling asphalt and rocks. I had to pull up the rocks to get out.
Occasional Verizon signal of 1 bar. One OTA TV station.
Sorry Loretta.

You made me look it up: Click here.

Because all of us are different and have different ideas about camping experiences, it's hard to base a judgment on only one review. So, I checked some other Campground Reviews using a simple internet search and found several web sites with reviews. I read through a number of these: Click Here..

Based on the reviews, the grounds, activities, museum, and everything else is a wonderful experience, although complaints about the cost. BUT, the campground appears to have more negative comments than positive, mostly what the OP stated above, plus more, like theft and stalking by campground employees and theft with no support from management.

Well, read them for yourself and base your own opinion. Again, I think reviews are often prejudiced based on what one's expectations are. And as everyone knows, we all have different expectations.

Granted, a longer RV rig, 40 footer motor home, fifth wheel, or travel trailer may have difficulty navigating the sites. Where as an 18 foot travel trailer, or even a tent camper will have absolutely no issues at all. So, in the end, it boils down to what one's pre-conceived ideas are and their personal expectations if the camping experience is poor, satisfactory, or excellent.

I will probably never go there. Charging $50 non refundable for having a dog is just something that I'll neverr pay. I'll pass on this one!
