2021 F350 Tail Light Lens

Today while backing a Short Trailer it got away from me and jackknifed and it cracked my Tail Light Lens. It is one of those with the BLIS sensors and no one sell seems to sell just the lens. Ford wants over $700 for the whole assembly. I found a "Take Off" one that is like new on EBay for $345. Does anyone know where I can find just the BLIS lens?

Thanks in advance
Rick

I have found that aftermarket parts are about 4-5 years behind. In this case I bet your stuck with the dealer.

I would be cautious when considering replacing an OEM electrical component with "knock off". Do lots of research on the truck forums. I know some "off brand" parts don't play well with the computer systems in some instances.

Yeah I know last summer when my windshield got broken by hail only OEM glass was available (which wasn't a bad thing.) took Safelite a while to get a replacement.

I will use the existing electronics. I already had to replace one about 7 months ago (another one of my brain farts), all I did was swap the Old BLIS unit in to the new housing, otherwise I would had to have Ford program it.

I know that there are replacement pieces out there for the 2021 Non-BLIS assemblies, was hoping that someone knew where I could find one that is BLIS without the electronics that make it so expensive.

I have LED lights all around. In theory they last for ever.
Last summer the left rear turn signal failed.
Replace a bulb? Nope, replace the entire unit for almost $800.00! For a turn signal.

Glad it was under warranty.

Wow!! I went ahead and ordered the "New, Take Off" one like I did last time. It was $365 with tax. Once I get it I'll swap out the BLIS Module with the existing one.Anyone need a BLIS Module I have two extra ones
