Yet another TV versus Trailer thread

I finally took my TV and TT to a CAT scale this weekend to get a baseline on weights. I created a spreadsheet so I can understand margins and manage weight. I am sure I am not the first one to do this but if anyone finds this useful or just wants to verify data and calculations I can post the spreadsheet. I arbitrarily set my cell formatting to flag a 5% or less margin as yellow and anything better as green.

Brien, thanks for posting this data. Awesome spread sheet. I'm pulling a trailer with similar specs but have not had a chance to get to the scale yet. Now I have an idea where I'm at.

Again, thanks for posting this!

Steve,

Thanks! Looking at the specs on your trailer, I am guessing you will have no problems towing with your RAM 2500 and have headroom for a future upgrade.
