I never will understand new math. Looks to me that Florida, Indiana, New Mexico should be switched with Nevada.

Just paid $5.42/gal yesterday in my town.

Commuter gets 30+mpg but only holds 13 gallons.

That's still $70 to fill up... More painful than it was just 2 months ago and a LOT more painful than a year ago !!!! Being one who remembers 21 cent gas, I never thought I'd be saying that I wish the "2 buck gas" was back.....

Locally, regular is $3.80 and diesel is $4.88

Yeah, and I remember 23 cents a gallon, my Suzuki T500 took 52 cents if it was empty. Then the odd/even days at the pump 73 cents a gallon, and I boldly said “if gas hits $1.00/gal I’ll quit driving”

The price of diesel? Well I can’t type it fast enough to keep up with it. It reminds me of when I was working, setting still in traffic in the back of a yellow cab in Manhatten just watching the numbers tick by on the meter....

As a kid (I just turned 68 this week) I remember my dad buying gas at a station called Spur (later called Red Head IIRC) that gave free dishes with fill up. Gas was I think .26/gal. And powdered soap came with a drinking glass. I think I still have some of them in a cubberd from my parents.

When I was driving (legally) @16 gas was .29/gal and in 72 when graduating HS it was .35 IIRC. After that was the OPEC oil embargo and all you got was hemmeroids from setting in gas lines.

Going home from school on Fri afternoons there was a small fuel stop, not a convenience store only gas, that ran a 1/2 price special, .08 cents per gallon from noon to 3. I had a VW Beetle that I could fill up for about $1.

Regular for the generators at WaWa is right at $5 in Richmond VA.
According to pure-gas.org the nearest non ethanol is on the other side of Richmond.
Supposedly there is non ethanol near Martinsville VA for next race weekend.

Shell near Martinsville Virginia was $479 for 93 octane non ethanol. Generators loved it.
Diesel across eastern Virginia is 475 to 500. I haven't stopped at a Pilot, Flying J, or Loves yet. I assume +\- $5.40.

Just completed a round trip from NH to FL. What a difference a month can make. For those that haven't hit the road yet, buckle up

Where we found diesel in the "$4.95-$5.09 range" for most of the trip. Once we hit NE on the return it is not $6.00+ The highest was $6.59 and this is NOT the truck stop pricing where you have to use a fuel program card to get standard pricing.

This is going to wreak havoc with the pricing of many things if it continues!

My plan with the high diesel prices is. On long trips 1000 plus miles from home is to stay longer and spend more time in one place. Take short trips 100 miles from home more often. If fuel prices where this high I would not have bought my truck and RV I would have bought a few acres to grow food instead. Or put it in the market..
Well maybe having the RV is not so bad.

Could you recheck the Nevada price again? Doesn't sound like $5.25 should be in the "Best" column. Oil is so volitile, seems like any change in the news drives up the prices. They will never come down as low we would all like.
