Thumbs up 2015 3711FL water leak/ wet spot on carpet

I have a 2015 Montana 3711FL 39' which recently developed a water issue.

I notice that the carpet which is next to the bed and shares the wall with the shower cabin is damp (see attached floorplan showing damp area).

I did a bit of detective work so far but haven't found the source - from the forums I see that possibilities are:

-Seal strip around slide out is leaking and water runs between outside and inside wall down to the floor
-Rubber seals around drain spout are bad and let water in
-Shower pan might be loose and leaking when someone stands in the shower
-Shower itself might not be properly caulked
-Shower handles/hose or toilet leaking and running behind wall

I plan on testing out running the shower with/without anyone inside to see if this is a cause - also monitoring after rain/snow compared to sunny weather to see if I have a leak up top.

My 5th wheel is stationary so I don't have the (easy) opportunity to tow it anywhere for service. If anyone has experienced a similar problem I would appreciate some advice or suggestions of where to look!

Smile Solved!

The drain in the shower pan in the bathroom was the culprit.

The seal around the drain was leaking, and this would run on top of the water tank below and make it's way to the wall, making the carpet damp.

I put some silicone around the drain and tested it by running the shower with/without someone standing in it, and the bedroom water problem didn't come up again.

So for now it is solved, I will come back if I find any additional issues/solutions.

Looks like your original post flew under the radar but I’m glad you got it figured out, good job and thanks for the update. It may very well help someone with similar issues.
