Fridge not working
Hello everyone.
My fridge seems to have died. It’s a dometic dm2652. All the lights in the fridge and control panel are on.
I checked the back of the fridge and saw a dried pool of yellow liquid which seems to have come from one of the absorption lines near the gas burner. Could someone please confirm that is most likely my problem?
And what is the fix, a new fridge?
Thanks for the help!

Looks to me like tell tale sign of a replacement fridge or cooling unit...
I’d try these folks to see what cost for cooling unit is for your make and model

It’s called “yellow death”. DO NOT try to wipe the yellow off, it can be harmful.
You can replace the cooling unit, or the entire fridge but either way, stay away from that powder with bare hands.

Yes, the yellow death, cooling unit tube has failed.
Best place to get a replacement cooling unit is below.

Just an update. I finally got around to replacing the cooling unit on my fridge...we have been camping using a cooler for several months.
Thanks again to everyone that helped out with information, this is why this forum is so awesome. Thanks especially to Russ for the link to rvcoolingunit.com. I ordered a new, Amish built, cooling unit from them. They were easy to work with, answered emails right away, and I received the cooling unit within a week of ordering it. It was $760, including shipping, from Indiana to California.
Here is some info if you are thinking about doing this project yourself. I was able to install the cooling unit myself (I needed help to move the fridge), it took pretty close to a full day to do it. It is not for the faint of heart. I would say it is a moderate to advanced DIY project. If you are real handy it is doable but if you are not real handy I would hire someone to do it. I had to drill some new mounting holes and do a little bit of re wiring to make it work.
Thanks again to everyone that helped me out, I appreciate it.
