I know I shouldn't have but I took my Dads advice and didn't winterize my Raptor toy hauler last winter.
List of issues first day camping:
1) Hose behind toilet cracked and leaking Fixed
2) Toilet water valve cracked leaking Part ordered
3) Bathroom faucet leaking Fixed
4) Shower handle housing cracked and leaking Part ordered
5) Handle on center reclining couch seat pulled apart parts ordered
Guess who is winterizing their camper this fall!
It's all easy repairs, just not what I wanted to be doing Fathers day camping week.
Also had my roof start to peel back in the top left corner, I taped it up with waterproof tape to make it through the week and get us home.
Now I'm looking at an 8.5 x 10' repair kit to replace or cover the section of roof that was damaged last year.
Anyone ever use one of these kits?
