awning hardware

I have been looking for replacement hardware for our Dometic 9100 power awning. Ouch!! My confusion is how to identify what we have. How can I tell if we have standard or basement hardware? Having a tough time trying to figure out what part number I should be looking for. Thanks.

Best is to measure the length of the arm that’s attached to the sidewall. If you can open the awning, there should be a tag with a PN on the arm.

Dometic AE 9100 awnings have two installation options. Standard or basement arm types.

To determine which you have, if you can't locate the part number tag on the awning arm is to measure from top to bottom of the arm assembly as it's mounted on the trailer sidewall.

The "BASEMENT" awning arm is 62.25" long
the "STANDARD" awning arm is 65.5" long

Thanks guys. I'll looked briefly last night but it was getting dark. I'll check again this evening.
On a follow up why is one called standard and the other called basement?

The standard awning legs are typically used in travel trailers and many "standard installations" on fifth wheels. The "basement awning legs" are used when there is limited height, usually in places like on the overhang (above the basement) on fifth wheels and on "short sided travel trailers"....

My Dometic rafter arm slide broke and I bought two new ones. They came with the rivet. Now how do I set the rivet?

Found the part number on the arm this evening. Mine is not standard or basement. It is reduced pitch # 8952003.400UL. searching on line looks as if they only come in pairs. Does anyone know of a source to purchase just 1?

You might want to contact Dometic and ask that question. Seems strange that they wouldn't sell individual parts. Since your trailer is a 2019 (according to your signature) is it possible that it is (or could be) a warranty repair???

Hate to say it but IIRC we have to buy in pairs.

Don't think I can try to claim this under warranty. I had the door to the camper open when I closed the awning. It got caught in the door and things got a little bent up. I am going to give Dometic tomorrow and see what they say.

Yep, had to order a pair. Guess I'll have a spare.

My door is always open when moving awning in or out, never thought it could interfere! Yikes!
