Re: Scare button????

Scare button can be for a large round light usually on the door side up high near the front.

If your porch light is rectangular and has what looks like a sensor in it, then you have two settings. Turn the switch on and the light stays on. Turn the switch on/off/on quickly and it is motion activated. This is if the scare. It Tom operates the porch light.

Cool, thanks. I'll give it a try tonight. Weird name for a switch.

Re: Scare button????

Well, it seems the scare button turns on a much larger light up front. I didn't have time to see if it would go off and come back on. I was in and out last night. I'll try it again tonight. I assume that it comes on at first and shuts off after so many minutes.

Re: Scare button????

If it's a large round light with a white lens, then it just turns on/off by the switch.

Or not label at all such as the satellite, cable or antennae connections.

Re: Scare button????

The scary part might also be turning on that light and calling 911, then having to wait for a response and thinking the light is going to make difference until the good guys show up. Sounds like the beginning of a good halloween movie...

Re: Scare button????

Scare button is actually a switch to release the monster from under your couch,... don't push it.......

Since you have posted this, I have connected my air horns on my motorhome to my " scare switch ". Now it works. Camp host does not like this mod.

Re: Scare button????

Howdy All;

Works well when our local pack of coyotes decides to set up for choir
practice close by. Snap the light on and 'practice' is ... to be continued.

Otherwise I just remember that, 'bright lights work both ways', if I light
it up the bad guy(s), can see just as well as I can.

Being inside a trailer is concealment without cover. With or without the light you're a sitting duck if the bad guys are really bad.
