I have a 2019 F350 6.2 L 4X4 ling bed tv with patriot 16,000 lb 5th wheel hitch. I have a 2019 Keystone Cougar 362RKS gross 10,750 I believe. Am I safe?

It is 13,860gvw. What is the payload/gawrs from the driver door?
You probably should be OK with those numbers since you are running the 6.2. Have you scaled the rig?

GVWR is 11500. No I haven't scaled it yet. We have been stationary with this covid thing going on hope to go mobile in the spring time.

gvwr is about like mine. Post those numbers from the driver door; max occupant weight load (payload), gawr front and gawr rear. GVW is good to know but without a scaled weight you don't know what to subtract from it. Payload would be the only thing that gives you a very close approximation. Then you can take 20% of the gvw of your trailer for pin weight; 13,860 x .20 = 2772 for pin weight. Subtract that and every pound added to the truck in addition to it including folks, gear, added running boards/bed cover/liner/hitch/ice chests/bbq grill/tables/chairs etc. Whatever that comes to tells you where you stand...approximately. Post back with those numbers and let's see where you are. If like mine, you will be fine.

Those numbers look good to me with some room to spare! When you get time and if there is a place, you could scale it to get exact numbers but you don't have a heavy 5vr, don't carry a lot of "toys" and a good payload for a 1 ton SRW. Happy camping!

Unfortunately that is what literally all of them say. Safety and your wellbeing aren't why they are there....it's to sell a trailer however they need to.
I had one guy, just one, that knew about payload when I mentioned it - he is the one I deal with to this day (thankfully he hasn't moved on).

Your payload looks fine. Let us know how the trailer pulls as 6.2 gassers are pretty available while the new 7.3 gasser is not and is usually guzzied up with a lot of options. I thought about a 6.2 but wasn't sure it would pull good. the payload is great because the gas engine is a lot lighter that diesel. Keep in mind that some 5th wheels out there push 20K lbs and will have much heavier payload needs and usually a dually is required. A one ton doesn't mean you can pull anything.

Thanks for replying I have only towed 3 times so far. New to fifth wheel towing and been almost 40 years since last TT. So far I love it. Set cruise on about 65 and set back and relax. The part I love is no sway when semi or any other thing goes by. DW much happier than the last TT.
