Window Heat

We have a 2021 Keystone impact with dual acs. The outside air temperature has been around 97°.Purchased a dehumidifier this weekend while we were out camping to try and mitigate some of the interior heat but It still gets damn hot inside. The windows are blistering when In the Heat of the day. Wondering what is the best thing to eliminate heat transfer from the windows to inside the RV. Called the Keystone dealer they had nothing to offer. Googling about trying to find some sort of thermal window barrier but not having much luck. There must be something. I'm sure we're not the only ones experiencing this. I suppose adding a window canopy over the slide out window would help but that's probably an expensive solution. I'm sure the best solution would be to add a third AC but......
Please share if you've experienced this issue and found a solution.
Thanks in advance.

We cover our sun facing windows with Refectix available at Lowe's or Home Depot. Cut to fit and slip behind the shades...which we keep pulled as well. You can use window tint or they make shades you can attach on the outside of the windows once you set up to camp. We opted against those as they are pretty expensive, have to be put up/taken down and require attachments on the outside of the RV.

Other things are to keep the trailer cool, don't let it get hot by turning off the A/Cs at any time because they will never recover in TX heat. Get adjustable ceiling vents so you can keep the cool air where you want it vs it just blowing out everywhere giving you a freezing bedroom/bathroom and warm living area. We spent 3 weeks in temps running up to 105 depgrees (very few got under 97) without too much issue. It does take some tweaking and attention to keep things nice in those kinds of temps.

To add to what Danny said, if you don't have one, get a couple of portable fans. I have learned in the south Georgia heat and humidity that a couple of little fans moving the air around helps a lot.

It seems in my 5er that the front bedroom with its separate A/C stays the coolest. I set a fan at the door blowing the cool air into the living area. And as stated, don't turn the A/C off when it is cool such as in the mornings, keep it cool. Hope some of this helps.

^^^^Yes, absolutely - fans. We keep our ceiling fan on, another on the end of the bedroom chest of drawers blowing into the living area and yet another on that same set of drawers circulating the cool air in the bedroom. I keep 2 of the 4 vents in the bedroom closed as well as the one in the bathroom too (or mostly closed depending on how warm the bathroom tries to get).
