Jt strong arm install question

I have a 22 keystone cougar 364bhl. I’m attempting to install the strong arms but where the mounting plate should be in the center of the front landing gear. There is a propane line running straight across. Anyone have any suggestions on where to put bracket?

The propane line may have enough flex if you move the P clamp.

Well depending on your skill level you could just move the line. When I installed shocks on our 5er, I moved my gas line inboard about 6”. Same with the galley drain line.

I recall a post somewhere describing a similar issue. Their solution was to install a plate “sandwich” in the passthrough to provide a mounting surface. The strongarms are not bearing any weight so the mount provided all the rigidity they needed.

On mine, (bumper pull) there is no crossmember where I wanted to mount the front inside strongarms because my water tank is there, so I bolted a 6’ length of 2” angle bar between the frame rails and attached the strongarm mount to the middle of that. If I recall, they suggest a maximum distance of deviation from square to allow for these variables
