Shore Power without a Battery
I have an old Keystone Cougar 2011 318SAB.
Can my RV be hooked to Shore Power, without have the battery connected?

You need a battery to operate the slides. Your converter isn’t designed to handle the load of the slide motors.

When I am done travelling for the season, I always remove the battery.
The RV is parked at my home.
If I don't need to open or close slides, would connecting my power cable to my home (WITHOUT THE BATTERY BEING IN) be workable?

As long as the converter is in good shape and you don't stress the 12V system (run the slides, jacks, levelers, etc,) there should be no problem. The converter will support a minimal 12V load and the 120V load capacity will depend on what amperage shore power you have.

Why? Why would you not have the battery in the camper if you intend on using it? If you are just storing the camper then no, there's no need for it to set there. But if you intend on running the furnace I would keep the battery in to help with the high Amp surge that the furnace will draw at start up.

If you have it at home, hooked up to shore power, i can't see any upside to removing the battery. The converter will keep it charged as well if not better than anything in your garage, and cold weather won't affect it. You have to check the water level occasionally, but you'd have to do the same on your garage charger, so that's a wash. I used to take the battery out when I stored my rig at a no-power location, but I haven't done it since I added a shore power outlet.

^^^^Agree. If the RV is sitting at your home plugged in I would leave it in the RV (which is what I do). I have removed batteries in the past from vehicles that I would leave stored off grid for months and put them on a tender but in your case (sounds like) it would serve no purpose.

If you do choose to remove the batteries and plug in to shore power,... be sure and wrap the battery cable ends with electrical tape. You wouldn't want the positive cable end contacting anything.

Thanks everyone for your input.
Based on the responses, I will put the battery back in the RV.
I don't intend to take the RV out anymore this year.
I'm in NJ. It does get pretty cold, but based on what LHaven said, it won't bother the battery.
I'll just check the water level every so often.
It is at home, and I have a 30 Amp outlet near it.
