The OP, which has this same thread posted in the ram forums, does not state that his Ram has factory air suspension with 4k pounds of payload. My Ram, see signature, does have factory installed air suspension and has a posted payload of 4058 pounds.
So I do not see how air suspension could change the payload of a truck. If I am incorrect, please explain.

For sure as noted he will be over payload with that truck. As I have a 379 and know how much it weighs when loaded.

Factory suspension changes will affect the payload of any truck. I was building and spec'ing new trucks and noticed the difference in payload when I selected auto leveling rear suspension and when I did not.

I believe you are mistaken. Ram 3500 SRW have a max GVWR of 12,300# putting the payload about 4000# +/-, to get to a GVWR of 14,000# and a payload of 5,000# + one needed to have DRW.

You are right, my numbers were not accurate. But I do recall the auto leveling suspension increased the payload. I should not have 'off the cuff' said a weight that I did not exactly recall.

Since the OP posted, he hasn’t responded at all. This thread is closed
