Black and Gray Tanks on 2011 Passport Ultralite

I bought a used 2011 ultra lite 250bh at auction. I need to clean out the tanks. I see only one cleanout sewer pipe and no valve. I have always had a gray cleanout and a black water cleanout. Can anyone help me? I see a slit in the insulation with a silver "screw" like thing protruding. I thought that might be a broken handle on a release valve, but again, there is only one. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum

Only one “clean out”? If you mean only a single 3” termination fitting, then there will be 2 separate valves. Most likely near the tank outlets, look for a 3” valve for the black and a 1 1/2” for the gray.

Since you bought this at auction, there’s no telling what the previous owner may have done. I would get a mechanics creeper and start tracing drain lines back to the tanks.

Not all trailers are plumbed the same. My previous fiver (Jayco) had 2 tanks and 2 separate drains. Current has 2 tanks and a single drain, with 2 valves.

My Passport has a single outlet fed by the black tank to the rear of the outlet and the grey tank forward of the outlet. Each tank has its own valve, each operated by a small diameter threaded aluminum rod with a plastic T handle protruding from a glob of dried spray-foam insulation. You may have to do a bit of exploration, but I am confident that you will find two valves in there somewhere.
