Yearly Texas inspection

I have just gone full time and my home base is Texas. I plan on staying in the northeast for the summer and working my way south as the weather gets cooler. I will be coming back to Texas every year but I don’t want to be held down to specific dates. I registered and had my new trailer inspected in January. I know that I can mail in my yearly registration but I also know that my trailer must be inspected yearly. Does this mean that I need to return to Texas by January every year to have my trailer inspected? Any help would be appreciated.

No!
Full-timed for 10+ years!
As soon as you get where you're going in Texas stop & have vehicle & trailer inspected.
Fortunately we towed with a diesel so it didn't require emissions testing, the entire process for both took about 10 minutes.
If towing with a gasser registered in an area that does require emissions testing you'll have to find someplace that does & get the truck inspected there when you're back in Texas, the trailer can be done anywhere.
