Upgrade from Bal 5.1 to 7.3...

Can you upgrade from the 5.1 system with the powered jacks on all 4 corners, to the leveling system with the hydraulic jacks behind the wheels, then connected to the other 4 jacks. Anyone ever upgrade? We have a 2020 Outback 300ML that has the mounts for the hydraulic jacks behind the wheels, so would be easy to install. Otherwise i may buy a set of the jacks and then wire it myself, with a pair of DPDT center off switches for each jack to level it side to side and then use the tongue jack as i do now to level front/rear, then run down the corner jacks like i have to now.

Would just be nice to have the 7.3 system with auto leveling.

7.3 is still electric. If your wanting to put hydraulic jacks that would require the jacks, lines, pump/reservoir and wiring.

I would contact Bal about upgrading to 7.1 or 7.3, they could tell you what components of the 5.1 would still be used in the 7.X system.

I figured they were electric operated, with hydraulic inside... since they can take quite of bit pressure, and it holds like hydraulic does with check valves. But what do I know?
