I like the Hercules tires. They have made at least 2 trips to Richmond Virginia and 2 trips to Knoxville Iowa. No visible wear. I’m careful to keep them aired up and keep covers on them while stored.
They may be my next tires for my truck.
It helps that a dealer is right here in town within rock throwing distance.
Edit add: We finally got some rain. North Texas, Oklahoma, and some of Kansas looked scorched last week. 18 wheelers hauling hay north on I-45 between Houston and Dallas.

I'm only going to buy one last set of tires, so right now the GOODYEAR G114 215 /75 R17.5 135 H BSW is leading the list. After they wear out or age out.. I'm done..

I’m on about the same program. But if my health holds out I could be talked into a Class C.

The Landmark came with 17.5” wheels.
I should be shopping for 1 alloy wheel for the spare.

I just can’t see the investment going to 17.5 tires and wheels . My last set of 14 ply tires ran 7 years.l cost me about $650..
New set just cost me about $820.. should easily see 5 to 7 years ..
If I did cut one of my 16 inch tires I know I can find something to put on in a pinch no matter what small town I might be near..
With the 17.5 tires that might be an issue in a small town ..
I did some looking at the 17.5 whales and tires and for me to replace all five it would be an investment of $2500 or more..
At my age I figure this set and maybe one more and my RVing days will be done..
I’m 68..

I doubt you’ll get that much for them, that’s almost new price for most trailer wheels. I think I paid $90 each for mine when I upgraded to gain psi rating. Granted that was several years ago and I think they’re around $130 now. I just traded mine in when I bought the tires. If I remember correctly, they gave me $40 each for them. You might be able to get $60-75.

Dang, prices on 4400 lb wheels is up there. Mine are rated for 3750 and are still $140 each. I just looked up some comparable 4400 lb wheels, the cheapest I found was $185. I guess you might be able to get $100 each. I always figure 50%.

The Sendel TO2 15x6 rims on my trailer are $140 to $170 depending on retailer. On used thing like that I'd ask 70 to 75% of new and take 50% if they don't get any interest.

If you keep the steel wheel spare I'd suggest test fitting it on your rv especially using the lug nuts. I found out the lug nuts used on the alloy wheels won't tighten up on the steel wheel needed a seperate set for the spare, fortunately I found this while doing maintenance & not along side the road somewhere.

I sold mine, tires & wheels, for $150 each.
The guy that bought them was in a real bind. Headed cross country to a new job, had a blowout & before he could get shut down the second tire blew, the rv dropped down ruining both wheels & nothing near for replacements. He was thrilled with the price.

Well it's a done deal, 5 new Goodyear G114 215/75R 17.5 "H" rated tires and 5 new 17.5 X 6.75 wheels are now installed and ready for our next trip.
Discount Tire and ETrailer to the rescue only hitch was Discount could only inflate to 86 psi, but I was ready for that
