Interesting gizmo to avoid blow out damage?

Simply because almost all travel trailers weigh more than any 4 LT tires can support. In other words, in most RV applications, LT tires are "too light rated" to support the weight of a travel trailer.

As an example, look up the 15" LT tire ratings and compare them to the 15" ST tire ratings.

I never intended this to be a TIRE thread. Those who can do so are more than welcome to close it before the squad of tire gurus catch wind.

My point was, that they have a video showing protection in a blow out situation and thought someone might be interested. Personally I would have a fab shop make some that had more substantial retention such as bolting to the frame (not really sure) and I do think these gizmos are far to expensive for what they are.
