Battery needs.

As we are set permanent in our park I would like to know if I still need to have batteries. Our unit is a 2005 Montana 34 ft. 5th whl. Thanks for any info.

Yes, you still need a battery to operate the heavy 12 vdc loads. You should not operate the slides w8thout a battery as the amperage load will exceed the output of the converter. The low voltage system is designed to operate off the battery and for the converter to charge the battery.
