New Keystone Owner

Hello!

Today I sealed the deal on a new 2020 Passport 175BH! I’m super excited for my little family to begin some RV adventures. It’s myself and my 6yo and we live in the SF Bay Area. My tow vehicle is a 2019 Ford Ranger and our trailer comes home next week. Can’t wait!

Michele

Welcome from Antioch CA.
Definitely make sure you do a thorough walk through if you bought it from Best RV. How exciting for you.

Welcome to the fourms good experience with a young family. Your little 2.3 turbo Ranger maybe underpowered for your 3300 lb. Trailer empty. In reality you could be very unhappy with your experience towing the 21 ft trailer close to or over 4500 lbs . Dealers will say most anything to make a sale.

Congratulations on your new trailer!!

You will find lots of camping options a short distance north and south of San Francisco and with your trailer you can camp at almost every state and national parks.

I don't know what the door sticker says on the truck but my guess is the truck will be over when she hitches it up at the dealer.

Thanks for your concern. I've run the numbers multiple times with various people (sales and otherwise). My truck is fine.

Welcome, good luck, enjoy. Keep us posted of your adventures.

Remember, when people post about weights, it's not to put you down or belittle you. In this community it is because of a deep sense of concern and care.

(And we all get paid a dollar, everytime we repeat it! LOL)

I'm guessing that check must be "in the mail".
