Slideout open half way?

Hi all,
We have a 27RL with a single slideout and can't open it all the way because of a fence. Will the slideout leak if it is not opened all the way, we can get it about 2' out.

Depends on if the seals are able to flip. More important is with them not being fully extended the support is not sufficient to properly hold weight of people in the slide area.

Can you not move the trailer over and reposition?

I wouldn't do it. To me they are either in or out. As Chip mentioned, the seals may or may not flip out. If not they are in the transitional position and somewhere they are twisted allowing a water channel inside. Many, many times my seals don't completely flip until the slide is almost out/in.

The slides are only sealed properly if fully in or out! The wiper seal is only good for moving in/out.

Great info, thank you! We have the TT in the driveway right now and will be bringing it to the CG in about a month.
