Wired Camera install on Passport Elite

I'm planning to install a wired tow camera to the rear of my 2620BH. Rather than have the cable exposed along the roof, I wanted to run it down the backside of the trailer in the wall, then go towards the TV.

How impossible is routing that inside the wall going to be? Thought about pulling the outside skin off.

When I did my wired camera, I ran a fish tape down the wall. It came out the bottom. I then ran the cable
Under the coroplast to the front of the trailer.

Your much better off routing it to the underbelly. If your sidewalls are metal, they are installed in “layers” and you’ll play heck trying to get them off without damage, Then there’s the issue of framing.

If your set on a wired camera, then I would Recommend doing it as above.

I ran mine on the outside and hid the cable inside wire molding. Looks pretty good and no issue in 3 years. It is a rear view safety system.

Mopar Madman: Would love to see a picture of the wire molding on the outside if you have one.

If this picture uploads you can try to zoom in and maybe see some of the wire mold on the driver's side of the camper. I'll try for better pictures tomorrow.

I ran my wire along the underside trim edging. I used gorilla tape to add a little insurance against the wire coming loose, but I doubt I needed it. Absolutely no big deal.

I store my camper at my buddy's house. If I can remember I'll get a couple pics tomorrow.

Here's a couple more pictures that are a little closer. The wire mold is running right next to the trim down the side of the camper.Hope this helps you out.
