Toilet leaking

Hey all,

New to the forums and appreciate all the discussions here.

Couple issues in our 2019 Flagstaff E-PRO 19FD:

1. I noticed the toilet is leaking water and not sure where its coming from (or how to diagnose and fix).

2. I noticed is some of the sealing in the shower/on the roof is getting old and coming off and needs to be redone. What sealant is best to use?

Appreciate any guidance while trying to fix these problems.

The toilet issue is likely the valve. They are fairly inexpensive and easy to replace.

The roof sealants should be checked/touched up every 90 days to catch issues before they develop. You likely have an Alpha Systems TPO roof, so you need to use a self-leveling sealant that is compatible, either from Alpha or Dicor (as long as it is TPO compatible.

That is a Thetford toilet, And you need the model number thats on a tag in the back of the toilet. Use your camera on your phone, it makes it easy.

Sure looks like the valve on our Dometic toilet. https://www.amazon.com/Dometic-Sanit...540814554&th=1

These are from the Dometic toilet manual. If your toilet was exposed to freezing, it's possible that the valve has been damaged which would cause it to leak:

My valve started leaking last trip out and I replaced that valve and it does look like the Dometic valve but best to get toilet model as I am not an expert on what Thetford valves look like. The ones on Amazon don't look like the one in the OP's picture. By the way, they are not all that easy to change if you have almost no room and are kind of chubby. I had to use an inspection mirror to get the two screws in place and started. I had to remove my shoes and socks to get some traction on the linoleum floor as I sprawled over the toilet.
