Traveling with pet's

We have a 9 year old doberman that really has trouble with the camper steps in our fifth wheel. Any recommendations on how to safely get senior dogs in and out?

Does your pup have mobility issues, not used to steps or ??

Our pup had a bit of issue with the RV steps. Never sure if it was too slippery, the holes in the bottom or what but we just put the carpet covers on all the steps and she zips right up and down - she will be 11 in July.

If it is some other problem some folks on here have posted some really neat ideas they have used to help their furry friends. Have you done a search of any kind?

Unfortunately he is getting some mobility issues. He is also very large at 115 LBS. Can't just pick him up LOL. I will try a search thanks!

He's a big one isn't he. My son had a red Dob that big back in the 80's, he was a great dog.

I'm biased for red Dobs myself. Every one I've been around has be very smart. Six yrs ago when we decided to get a dog a red Dob was #1 on my list. My wife talked me out of it because we had a couple of very young grandkids and she was afraid they would be intimidated by a Dob. We ended up with a Goldendoodle and we couldn't ask for a better companion.
