New member from western MT
Hi all,
New member here from west central Montana. I am changing forums to match our 2021 Springdale 27TH. Pulling that with a 2018 F250 Superduty 6.2L gas.
We have had it less than a week, and it has been snowy and windy and I haven't even got to explore it much yet. We bought it last Saturday 2/20/21 and I got the joy of pulling it home for the 1st time over 390 miles of ice, blowing snow, winds, whiteouts and 4 mountain passes. An 11 hour adventure that normally takes 6 hours. I have a few more gray hairs in my beard now than I had last Friday. But she pulled fine, and held her lane most of the time. This is our 4th TT, but our first Keystone. Changing to a toy hauler, because I am a slow learner. We used to take our TT up in the hills, park it, run back, throw a second trailer on. Then load atvs, and head back up. Then reverse the process. My wife thought I was nuts, and after the third summer, maybe she was on to something? Anyhow, I am looking forward to putting her into service, and reading the tons of information here in the forum.

Welcome to the forum. Please keep your snow up there in MT! The sight of snow right now is really depressing but I bet this camper will make your outings a lot more fun if you don't have to run back and forth for the ATVs.

Welcome to the forum. That "first tow home" sounds like an ordeal. We did it for years when we lived in Colorado. Even in July, crossing the mountains, we'd occasionally be towing in ice and snow.
A word of caution, when you get it back from the dealership, clean the undercarriage as best you can. Lippert frames are not known for the most effective corrosion control/prevention measures and Keystone doesn't add anything during the building process, so there's a very good chance of rust starting on the frame if you towed it home on salted roads. A quick rinse to get the salt off the frame is all that's needed until spring, then I'd suggest a good cleaning and some "corrosion prevention strategy"....
