We haven't been to Goose Island since two weeks before the hurricane. We've been to Rockport twice since then and stayed in RV parks; they were nice but not our thing. Probably won't go back until the S.P. is rebuilt.

We stayed in a RV park in Rockport many years ago. I wasn't impressed either. My sister and her now ex had a place in Key Allegro that was nice and it was a good area for fishing.
Sounds like Rockport area is on the dirty side of the storm that is hitting the coast. Hopefully not much damage.
