Is it vented outside? Maybe installing a fantastic fan / Maxxair fan to a vent nearest kitchen. Or, just disconnect alarm.

We bought a “Kitchen” rated alarm, should be even had fewer alarms, it still goes off with bacon or sausage! ;($@$((:—@!
It is much better if we also run the fantastic above the stove also.

It took the first 20 years of our marriage (40 yrs next month) to get the DW to use the stove top control settings between the two end stops.
Have her try using the oven. It takes longer because the fat is cooked not burned away.

Less messy as well as it doesn't splatter.

The comedian Ron White said that was the alarm letting his wife know when the food is done, is this the same at your house?

I don't fry bacon in the trailer. I use either a griddle top outside or an induction cook top outside as well. If the weather is too bad I just do without the bacon. Our alarm doesn't go off but it sure makes a mess I don't like to clean up...

As for the OP's problem. The smoke detector is "what it is"... That said, there are two ways to decrease the alarms:

First, cover the skillet when frying bacon/sausage and use the back burner (so more of the cooking fumes stay under the hood.

Second, and probably the best (always save the best for last) is to DITCH the fan system in the OEM range hood. It's a "tiny little fan, underpowered motor and won't pull crap out of the trailer, even on a good day"...…

Here's what I installed, it works better than the OEM, moves more air, has multiple speeds, is much more quiet and stops the "false alarms"....

https://www.amazon.com/Fabulous-Oper.../dp/B00VAAQ3VE

And, in the description, they address "ventilating the entire trailer using the exhaust fan". They aren't kidding. Between the range hood fan on high and the Fantastic fan in the bathroom on high, we can exhaust the entire trailer in a matter of minutes.

Rain or shine, I cook outside on a “camp chef” 3 burner stove. Only thing cooked inside is berry pies or homemade sourdough bread.

We also had the same fan as John in our Raptor. This rascal will suck the socks off a rooster! And John's description is on the money. Probably an hour and 15 minutes install in your housing.

Jim, we used to raise chickens and I used to put socks out for them all the time to keep them warm but they just wouldn't put them on. I have to know, were you able to get those chickens to keep the socks on?? And then....suck them off with a fan??? I might just get some more to raise so I can experiment with that.....

Took the words out of my mouth. It was my first thought also, start with the most obvious and easiest.

Ditto...................Plus, if you do cook smoky foods inside open windows, doors and vents. We do this on both our fifth wheel trailer and sailboat.

Had the same problem. Found out after 2nd year that the vent flap outside had toggle latches that were holding the vent flap closed. Check outside and see if the toggles are out of the way and the vent flap is opening.

We cook outside with a Blackstone gas griddle.
