Black tank pumping

I am now a free spirit. Husband and children free. I have decided to do the RV living thing. Is there anyone around Fort Collins / Wellington Colorado who does RV tank pumping?

Be careful with a "porta-potty company" if they have limited or no experience with RV tank service. The suction pumps on porta-potty trucks can collapse the RV black tank if the content level is above the vent stack and they apply too much suction to withdraw the contents of the black tank.

You want to be sure that whoever you choose has experience with RV tanks, and stands behind their work so that if they damage your tank, they will accept responsibility for the repair costs.

When we went X country in 2009, we had no choice in a campground in New Haven Ct. they hooked to the termination fitting and drained it that way, while we were in NYC.

When we do Quartzsite, the portapotty rig comes out, connects to the drain and with all the drain valves open, sucks all the contents out. Most of the rigs are very full and never an issue with collapsing tanks. Even with fluid above the vent pipe, air will still be drawn in as fluid is removed, so the tank will not be affected, plus, with the tank that full, it's hard to imagine it could collapse. The bigger issue is finding a company that has the bayonet fittings to make the connection to the drain pipe.
