Batterys

Hi, new member
I have a 2002 outback liteway 28ft, I took the 2 old 12 volt batterys off to replace them, I now have the new batterys but I never markek how to hook up and i notice there are the 2 leads from the trailor and 2 more that I disconnected which i assume join the batterys together can anyone advise

What kind of batteries did you replace them with ??

12 volt, 6 volt ??????? They hook up differently...

There should be a sticker somewhere in or near the battery compartment that says something like: "White is ground, black is positive."

Uh, that is unless someone has changed things all around in your rig.

and then to balance your battery system, connect Battery 1 + to house +, and Battery 2 - to house ground

Any recommendations on a double-battery end-to-end box? The only ones I’ve seen start at $100. Or is there some reason two single boxes are better?

I dunno about "better", but two single boxes are a lot less expensive.

Never heard any pros or cons about a large single vs. two regular boxes.
