cold water shut off valve for washer

how do you replace the cold water shut off valve for the washer that is not hooked up. It is leaking and we have never had anything hooked up to it. We have a 2018 keystone montana high country.

Welcome to the forum

If the line is pex, you can cut it and crimp on a new valve. You should be able to get everything you need at the big box hardware store

if it’s leaking out of the hose bib end you can screw one of these caps on it for now..
just tighten by hand until it stops leaking….be careful not to over tighten and or strip the threads

What kind of trailer, year? The plastic tubing you're referring to is Pex. Where is it located and how/why is it leaking? Pex doesn't fail too often unless damaged.

Water leaking after washer dryer removal

2019 Keystone Fuzion 429

I removed a non-functioning washer dryer combo. Shortly thereafter, we noticed small leaks from the hot and cold water connections. The pex tubing we have access to is on the other side of the wall (in kitchen) from where the washer dryer hookup is.

It is leaking from where you would hook up the washer/dryer to the RV (as in 1st photo showing the bibs (I think they are called that). It is then dripping down the wall between the garage and kitchen down the pex tubing.

Is the pex to the valves attached or can you just pull those valves up 2-3"? Are the valves themselves leaking or is it the connection underneath? There are a number of ways to fix it depending on your desires for the washer connections going forward. You can remove the valves completely, replace them etc.

Those are about the cheapest looking hose bibs/valves I have ever seen.... I would wonder how they connect to PEX....
