Does anyone know if the bay door where the generator is located, should be closed or remain open while the generator is running? The generator works great but it does make a lot of heat! I remember during our walk thru they did say don’t run the generator with the cover off but I can’t remember if they said anything about the bay door!

Also does anyone know if there is a time limit on how long the generator can be run before rot should be turned off and allowed to cool?

As long as the gen cover is in place, you can close the compartment door, and it will run as long as it has fuel, I think it has an overheat sensor that will shut it down.
