Hello! I'm Robert, 49, I live in my 2004 Montana 2955RL full time. My tow vehicle is a 2004 Ram 2500 reg cab 4x4. I purchased both of these vehicles from my parents after my divorce in which we sold our house.

Since it was just me on my own, most of the time, I did not want to rent an apartment and I didn't need a house to rattle around in. I thought I might buy a motor home to live in, my parents had this 5er they were not using anymore and suggested that I stay in it for a few months and be sure that I could live that life. I then purchased it from them and have been living in it full time for about 4 years. My parents own about an acre of land and they had a concrete slab and a roof over it that they parked the 5er on. So I pay them rent and that is my space now. I have electricity and wifi, but about 4 times a year I pull the 5er down to empty the tanks and take on some fresh water. I shower in the house, so the burp of the black tank is my cue to hook up and run down the road.

I was actually researching an issue with propane when I found this forum and felt silly that I hadn't thought to find a forum previously, having been a member of Jeep and other forums before, frequently the best place to find good information and helpful individuals.

Excited to have a place to ask questions and read about others experiences with RVing.

Hello Robert, and welcome!

Glad to have you among us, and don't hesitate to ask any questions. We have a bunch of very knowledgeable folks here.

Enjoy the Montana, and take care!

Welcome. You might try opening the user CP and putting down your signature. That way, in the future, when you have a question folks can see right away what TT you have and what tow vehicle you have. Keeps responses in context.

Welcome!

I think a full timer who has to dump black only once per quarter might be some kind of record!

Haha, I use the restroom as little as possible. Spend a lot of time at my girlfriends house or friends. And of course pooping on company time is always the best option.

I do have a signature saved, but it's not showing up for some reason. Post count maybe?

There are two places for a signature. One shows up on posts (edit your signature), the other doesn't (edit your details). People always find the second one first. Look for the other one.

Isn't it said that a wise man poops on the clock and not on his breaks?

I think you can get some pills for that.

Not a thing of post count. Just have to get it into the right location and save it. When you do it will back fill all of you prior posts as well.
