Hooking up TVs

We have a 2021 avalanche it didn't come with TVs in neither bedroom . I bought 2 TVs plugged in hooked coaxial cable to the cat/ant then to ant on tv but tv says no signal. I'm assuming my camper has a antenna because the living room tv works and the outdoor kitchen one works. What do I need to do ?

First make sure you do a channel scan on the TV and be sure the TV is set to AIR.

Where you hook up park cable, usually in the convenience center, there is probably a module that says “KeyTV”. Make sure the blue light is on, if it is then we probably need to start looking at the coax feeds to the bedrooms.

Ok. Now the “fun” begins.

Remove the plates where the TVs hook up, look at the coax, make sure the center conductor isn’t shorted out, and is sticking out the proper amount. After that, your probably going to be hunting for splitters.

This sounds like I'll be taking it to my local keystone dealer.

Both TVs are doing the same thing. So that might make it easier to find the problem.

I’m thinking splitters or coax not connected properly at the splitter(s).

Top picture is from one bedroom other bedroom was hooked up. The 3rd one I'm not sure if that is right or not but all tighten up.

Clearly, the top photo, the coax just plumb fell out. Would be interesting to know what color it is. Can you access behind the wall?

As for the control unit, great to know that Keystone treats the color coding somewhere between a rumor and a joke.

I would take a small TV outside near the control box, cable it directly to each of the TV-n jacks in turn with a short coax cable, and make sure they all deliver. If not, tell your dealer the module is plotz. If so, start tracing cables. A toner (example) could be helpful to locate the free end of the cable in that wall and tell you which one it is, but for coax it's only going to detect the tip end, not the run, because coax is specifically made not to leak RF.

The one not hooked up is in the ceiling. Don't know how they would assess it.

Use a flashlight and look up there, use a coat hanger or other stiff wire to feel around for it.

Do you think that if that one isn't hooked up it would make the one in the bunkhouse not work ?

Depends on the coax routing.
