New Member. First time Keystone owner. 335cg

Good morning! Truth be told, this is my first RV from the standpoint of owning one personally, but I grew up RV’ing for many, many years, and am not nee to the scene at all.

I’ve had the 335CG for about a month now, and have been going over it with a fine tooth comb, fixing every little thing I can find wrong.(I understand how hastily these things get built)

Haven’t found anything worthy of a trip for warrantee work yet, so I’m greatful for that. Maiden voyage is coming up in a few days, and I’m so very excited. Shortly after that, I’ll be replacing the red for Goodyear’s, and start considering heavily the second a/c unit.

I’ve had some fun scouring this forum thus far. Lots of good info in here.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new trailer! Only spent a small amount of time in your area so don't know what it's really like in summer...BUT if it's anything at all like southern/south central MO, at 37' you will definitely need that 2nd AC unless you like "simmering" during the day and being "sticky" all night. Good luck.

IMHO any rv 30'+ 2 acs would be mandatory regardless of where you live, well maybe not Alaska.
Have cousins in the UP that claim ACs aren't needed, but at 80-85 degrees with 90-100% humidity I'd have to disagree cause opening windows with a fan running didn't help much. DW & I would take a drive just so we could run the AC to cool down & dry off.

Greetings and welcome to the forum! Glad to have you along.

Congrats on the new TT, and we're sure you'll have a lot of good times with it.

Being able to fix the small stuff that happens is a good thing, too.

Take care!

Thats pretty much how I feel about it. My attitude used to be I wouldn't go camping in that kind of weather, but that's part of the reason of owning this rig, is so that I'm not limited on when I can camp lol.

It will get installed soon, I have no doubt. Replacing the trailer king tires is first though. I've seen WAYYY too many bad reports on those to feel very comfortable hauling the trailer with those on for very long.

The above is a wise choice IMO. I didn't pull up your trailer specs but figuring they are 15 LRE tires? If so there are some good choices for replacements, I installed the Carlisle Radial Trail HDs LRE on mine with good success. IMO the 2nd AC is going to run a close 2nd to those tires!
