New to the Keystone forums but experienced Rv'r. We'll be picking up our 2021 Cougar 29RKS tomorrow. Looking forward to reading the forum and learning from the more experienced Keystone owners.

Welcome and enjoy the rig. We have a 2020 29 rks and love it. We did add a pillow topper to the bed and going to add a piece of foam to the couch sleeper. When it’s open there is a small dip at the head. So adding a piece of foam to even that out.
I changed the outside grill to a black stone griddle. I put in a 17 inch but later found out a 22 fits right in without any change. Check this forum for how it was done.

Thanks for the info on the Blackstone. We have the 22 inch model. The space on the 2021 looks a bit smaller, but I will check it out.
We also have a 3" topper we'll put on the bed, it has to help. We also have an extra piece (from our current TT) that we can use on the couch.

That should take care of it. As for the griddle. What I saw on the 22 mode. They removed the grill and just put the 22 inch in. I will see if I can find the mode and post the link for,you happy camping

Pete, as was mentioned, welcome to the forum. Most important is to make sure you do a seriously thorough PDI before you sign the papers tomorrow. We have members every day who drive away from the dealer thinking all is well. And of course it is not. Hopefully you are experienced enough to hold their feet to the fire on anything that is amiss. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks Jim. I've been told that the DPI will take 2-3 hours. I told them I wanted to test ALL systems, yes, even the furnace in 85+ degrees. I think I know enough to know where I need to look, and how things should operate. This will be our 4th RV (we said it's also the last) so hopefully things are smooth.

Sounds like you are well prepared for the PDI. Hope it all goes well.
Take care and travel safe!
