Yes, I am on a concrete pad which is level. I’m going to attempt to attach pics but since I’m a newbie bear with me.

Looking I'm not seeing much of a grade down toward the sewer inlet. Is that pad "level" or "flat"? Have you put a level on it to see if there is a slope there? With the way it looks I would not drain my washer into that line unless I knew for sure there was enough grade for the water to run into the sewer inlet without impediment.

Oh, and don't worry about being a newbie. We all were and we all help each other. Do what you need to post stuff....you do better with pics than I do!

Danny, I’m seeing a drop, be it very slight, and the rise at the end. With the run being that long I figure there would be enough water pressure to push it up and over.

I can't really tell without knowing the level of the pad. But the worry I have is that he is using a washing machine, with a pump, pushing out the water. If there isn't enough drop for what the pump is pushing there will be a problem...it won't be just slow gravity draining.

Well I finally tried to do another load of wash, this time while being hooked up to a dump. Before the water even had a chance to get to the drain hose it began to flood my bedroom again. Not up and out of the washer drain pipe but again just appeared on the floor in front of the washer as if seeping up through the floor. No sign of water on the washer itself or on the wall near the drain pipe or the carpet on the platform that the washer is mounted on. I just called the dealer who installed it and I have an appointment for this upcoming Tuesday. Beyond frustrated at this point.

I totally understand. I wonder if they bothered to test it when they installed. I always tested both the washer and dryer. Please let us know what they find. I’m thinking a broken drain pipe or a blockage.

Or a crack in the washer pump housing or a leaking hose connection from the pump to the drain ?????

Yeah when I picked it up the tech said “I ran a quick cycle with a towel.” At this point I don’t believe that. If they ran the washer then why didn’t they tell me that it bypassed the gray tank so that I could avoid any problems on that front? Well again thanks for your input and I will certainly keep you abreast.

Problem #1 is that there is not enough slope from the exit of the RV to the top of the sewer dump connection. That entire line will be filled with (I'll let you fill in your own thoughts here) and acting like a P-trap. NOT the way it should be. There is about 20-25 feet of liquid (mostly) in that hose to get going and it should be empty. THEN let's go to the other possibilities that have been covered.

When I started the wash today I checked the hose and it was completely empty. No water in the drain pipe at all. I immediately went to the bedroom and the floor was wet already. It is definitely not backing up from the hose into the trailer.
