341RD dump valve handles

Just purchased a 2021 Outback 341RD. The dealer, who was awesome, confused me with the handles. It has 4, 2 going into the belly, and 2 below belly. I assume the 2 in the belly keep ALL liquid there to keep from freezing, correct?

The handles won’t stop the tanks from freezing. I am going to assume you have 2 gray water tanks and 2 black water tanks, right?

The only thing that will keep any tank from freezing is either tank heaters or a heated underbelly. I suspect the placement of the handles was for ease of installation at the factory.

The floorplan only shows one toilet, so I'd guess (may be way offbase) that the handles are two gray tanks, one black tank and a handle for the fresh water tank drain ?????

I don't see a second toilet.

I agree, the handles get put where it's cheapest and fastest on the assembly line with little/no regard to future owner convenience.....

My fifth wheel has a gray tank and black tank handle in the convenience center
Under the trailer is a separate valve for the island sink gray tank ( it drains into the other gray tank exit line) and a separate gate valve for draining the freshwater tank... do you have two gray tanks? One under bathroom and one under kitchen island?

I figured it out and I'll share in case others wonder as well! The bathroom has its own system and set of valves stored up in the heated belly until you're ready to dump. Unfortunately the kitchen sink only has 1 valve and it's not in the belly for freeze protection, disappointing! There's also another valve just for the washer hookup.

I have the 341 RD also. It w very confusing the first time we camped. Hate that we have two drains to connect to dump.

I can understand inconvenient, but after the 1st dump I'm not sure what would be confusing.
Two hoses, 1 Y fitting connected to a separate hose connected to the sewer inlet, pull 2 maybe 3 handles.

It was only confusing the first time. one of the pull handlewasnt labeled. It was for the washer hookup. yeah , i guess your solution would be the way to go instead of moving the hose over every time to dump. Thanks

Never seen/heard of any rv having a separate tank just for the wash machine, usually shared with a bath grey tank with at least a lavatory.

It's the same gray tank. Just a separate handle
