Kid friendly within 4 hrs of NE Texas

There are plenty of places we know of, but we ware looking for those kid friendly spots. Playgrounds, trails, etc. Lots of state parks and lakes around here but fishing only has their attention for a little while. Doesnt have to be a the rv spot but any near by activities would be good too. Looking for anything within 4 hrs of NE texas (Sherman to Texarkana) area

Beavers Bend State Park at Broken Bow Oklahoma has a small "pony ride" area as I recall. Their web site also mentions mini golf:
