Furrion fireplace remote

Has anyone been told not to use the remote for the Furrion fireplace in a Cougar with auto leveling? I did not receive a remote and when I asked was told that the remote would raise or lower the landing gear and that Keystone had removed the remotes from the owner's pack. Want to know if anyone has had a problem with this.

What a JOKE!!! Dealers are getting very creative with their excuses. I would demand a remote and have them SHOW YOU it affects the auto level as I have NEVER SEEN IT!!

I hope you were wearing tall boots when the dealer told you that. Sounds like he was "slinging" it pretty deep.

Yeah, our fireplace remote is line-of-sight infrared, and there isn't a remote for the auto leveling, at least not that I know of.

That same dealer probably tells the Tacoma pickup owners they can tow "anything on our lot" also!
Yes! Head back & get the remote.

Ha! You can have our remote. It's practically useless. We have be directly in front of the fire place and at just the right height for ours to work. We use the fireplace a lot in the winter. We found it much easier and a LOT less frustrating to just get up and push the button.
