Raptor Slide outside seals
Hello all,
I have a 2008 Keystone Raptor 3812, after 11 years the slides outside seals are deteriorating and need to be replaced. Unfortunately I am unable to find what seals are used. I'm hoping that someone on the forum would be able to point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance for your help.
Jeff

There are several styles used, you need to figure out what size sweeper and the profile.
AP products on-line should have pics of the different profiles with measurements so you can get the right one.

There are 2 seperate seal types, the wiper seal & the bulb seal. The bulb seal usually has a small screw in the ends & slides off/on on a plastic track. The wiper is more difficult to change but doable.
Don't be too shocked by the price, normally sold by the foot at about $1+/- per foot.

Do you have a website for the purchase. I measured my slides and it comes out to around 75 feet.

The exterior wiper seals are TPE clip on.. one screw on each end . Remove the screws and slide out the damaged seal. Measure length for new seal and install..a little bit of silicone lube on the seal lip edge aids in sliding new wiper seal in the track.
The bulb seals are also in a track a relatively easy to replace.
Pics are what Trekwood indicates is used on your 2008 slides... exact same as on my 2014.
Wiper seals can be replaced in about 15 minutes.. Replace seals on a warmer day when sun is shining. Much easier to work with the seals are they are a bit more flexible.
You can easily beat Trekwood price and shipping cost by looking around the internet. I ordered a 35 foot roll and did one full slide out ...my largest slide.

Given the comments (extracted from your post only to highlight them) do you really think you're going to be satisfied with anything from THOR, as soon as the first warranty claim occurs?

For others who read this, the Thor's worried about appear to be the motor hone line. They are way different from the Keystone trailer lines. It's really hard to make comparisons between the two except generally. Just something to keep in mind.
