Resealing shower stall

I've noticed a few gaps where the silicone has shrunk (or was missed altogether) around where the shower walls meet the trailer wall.

1) Can I use regular bathroom silicone sealer to touch up?

I'm gathering that there is a short flange that goes around the tub and then the walls sit on top of the flange. Our tub doesn't have any sealant around where the walls meet the tub.

2) Is there any harm in silicone-ing the wall/tub area? (see red circle in picture)

I resealed mine. I used white bath silicon. It doesn't needed it around tub to enclosure junction as there is a big lip on the tub the enclosure fits over but it made me feel better. As far as silicon at the top, I did that as well as there is no reason not to. Here is a pic of a tub much like the one you have; note the lip:

You really don’t want to seal the shower walls on your unit. It’s made like that to breath. If you seal it up you will most likely have mild issues later

I'm not a fan of caulking the bottom area either. As noted, there is a lip behind there, and it seems like it would take a lot of effort for water to wick up there. Also, if any water does get back there (from leak around faucet, for example), it would get trapped back there and increase the likelihood of some mildew issues. I do, however, caulk the very top edge of the shower stall. Just my thoughts.

I sealed the top and sides, but not the bottom. Thank you!

Our bathroom sink didn't have any silicone around it - so I put a bead on there. That should be ok? And I touched up the bathroom backsplash and kitchen sink too. Once you get started, you may as well use up the tube!

I’d say the seal job you did will work just fine.
