Looking for Alpine owners
Looking to purchase a new alpine. Currently have a cardinal and wanted to hear what you owners think about your alpine. Would you buy another one?
Thanks in advance for any replies!

Elky66 we love our 3500RE. I would definitely purchase another one when the time comes. I think for the price point the fit, finish and quality are as good or better than some of the higher priced rigs we have seen. Of course we have had a few minor issues nothing that couldn't be taken care of. But isnt that all part of the RV lifestyle? Good luck in finding your new rig!!!

In a heartbeat. Absolutely love our Alpine. It would take a lot to get us to switch to something different.
To be honest, we didn't go looking for an Alpine, we looked at Montana, Jayco Pinnacle, Big Country, Big Horn, Columbus, Open Range, Cedar Creek, Cardinal, and Redwood. We looked at the Alpine because it just happened to be on the same lot as the Jayco and the salesman told us we should take a look. After going through all of that, we simply didn't find anything we liked better than the Alpine. The Redwood was really nice, but I didn't see anything that would cause me to spend that much more.
Since we made the purchase, I've also looked at Grand Design, that would be a consideration if we decided to replace the Alpine.

We really like our 3010RE. It's is a camper and we've had a couple technical issues, but overall we are very pleased with our choice. Our first big trip is next summer, after 4 months and 5000 miles I'll have a much better feel for it. Safe travels.

We love our Alpine 3535RE, and will do it again when the time comes!
In my opinion, dollar for dollar, the fit and finish is among the best in the industry. We looked at several other "premium" brands prior to purchase, but found nothing we liked better.
Good Luck,

We purchased our Alpine 3101RL in May 2015. Used it in 2015 for 10 weeks and about 15 weeks in 2016. We just love it. Had some warranty issues but my dealer and Keystone took care of all of them. The rig is well made with great finishes. Love the 6 point level up system.
I think the biggest asset you have, if any repairs are needed, is to have a great dealer acting for you with Keystone.

Thanks for all the responses! Some minor issues are understandable. We've had 2 Keystone campers prior to the Cardinal and basically had no problems. For the price of these things, we were disappointed with the amount of problems with the Cardinal. Forest River took care of all of it, but it was at the dealer quite often. The Alpine floorplans are great
Thanks again.

We like ours very much. We haven't used it as much as some with just over a thousand miles and a handful of camping trips. I wanted an upscale coach without an upscale price and ours has that. Full body paint, 12" frame, heat pump, European style hidden hinges, Real wood everywhere, no plastic crap and the list goes on. And yes I would look at Alpines again and I must say that a good dealer is real important. I drove 300 miles to buy from the dealer we did. A couple component issues (fireplace, wheels) and both handled very quickly and professionally. I think its easy for a bad dealer with inept workers to blame keystone when the dealer drops the ball, just my opinion.

We have the Alpine 2014 model 3010RE. Love it. A few minor issues with trim, etc but overall it has done everything we hoped it would.
Some of the newer models have had issues with the Lippert suspension leaf spring bolts. Ours has Dexter suspension and we've not had any issues.

Ok, first I've heard of this. I did a few different searches and nowhere did I read about leaf spring bolt failures. Please link to where you read about this so we all can see if this should be a concern. I have read nothing but good things on the modern wet bolts being used on the Alpine.

If you are on Facebook go join the Alpine fifth wheel group.. there is a very informative post with many pictures... NHTSA case has been created.

Sorry ChuckS, Just don't see it..Did several searches on Facebook but couldn't find the site you are listing. Saw a complaint about a broken roof vent. Saw several complaints on a site about all Thor products. Also looked at a site where all federal recalls are listed, nothing recalled but if you go to NHTSA site you will see 2 complaints about the suspension bolts breaking. One case 1 bolt broke and a second case 2 broke causing more damage. No investigations. This site is pretty cool you can follow anything that is officially complained, investigated or recalled by the NHTSA:

I looked for the FB group and only found one group that had five members. Not sure I would rely on that.
Alpine doesn't make the suspension so I would not blame them for any issues.
All manufacturers use similar components.

This is a crack on the drivers side front slide out.. I've seen four or five on the later model Alpines... seems to be on the Front Living room models....

Roof ripped off a 2016 Alpine. I have personally seen two Alpines driving down the road with a huge bubble popped up from the roof while driving.. the driver can't see this while driving..

So the issues are out there with the Alpine fifth wheel... if you look in the right places... I've owned mine for 3 years and knock on wood haven't experienced any of these issues...
But... there is an issue with Lippert suspension... I've only posted a few pictures ... I have a Dexter suspension on my Alpine...
Ja t passing along what I've seen and read....
