Slide switch problem

Hi all, I am having problems with a bad slide switch that burned up my slide motor...The switch stayed in retract position and motor ran until it burned up.... First question , does anyone have problems with this type of switch ? (hope the pic loads) . My older keystone had a newer type of switch, I get a 2010 sprinter and switches look like they were made in the 80's. Second question , Where can I buy a replacement motor for bedroom slide.. It is a venture model? thanks in advance for your help...Greg

Re: Slide switch problem

My 2012 Copper canyon has that style of switches. My cover (the part you press on) keeps falling off, haven't had one stick yet. The one for the awning did stick and it cost me an awning motor so I feel your pain.

There should be a tag or plate on the slide motor. If you can post a pic, I can have our parts person see what's out there.
